Just cut & paste a snippet of code and you're ready.
  • FreeStats - Nice free stats program that offers lots of useful data. Besides telling you how many hits your page is getting, it will tell you how many unique visitors your page gets every day/month and shows you who they were. It also tells you such useful info as how many unique visitors you got, what countries they came from and more.
  • SuperStats - Excellent free Web page statistics service that serves up all the information about your visitors you could ask for. It allows you to see how many people have visited your site; total & unique visits; browser types; visiting domains; referral listings (how visitors found your site); what time of day they visited; traffic patterns and much more. SuperStats gives you five full days' worth of stats, and you may track as many pages as you wish. Setup is easy: just copy two lines of HTML to your page and you're all set.
  • Stat Track - A solid new free Web site tracking service, Stat Track offers you plenty of information about your visitors, including plenty of data to help you improve your site and its traffic. Data available here includes visitors per hour, visitors per day; last 20 visitors, top 20 referrers, last 20 referrers, screen dimensions, color depth, JavaScript status and domains. Stat Track is easy to sign up for and implement on your site.
  • Extreme Tracking - This wonderful free service from the Netherlands has every stat you could ask for, intelligently broken down by category. This JavaScript-enhanced tracker offers you loads of information. You get totals by Web site, search engine, E-mail, Usenet, etc. and even can find out what keywords your visitors used to locate you! See a sample of their stats here. On top of everything else, Extreme Tracking is one of the fastest-loading trackers around. The only drawback to Extreme Tracking's free service is that your stats may be accessed by anyone.
  • 3ts Count - Handy new free tracker service that only requires you to display a small (26-by-24 pixel) icon on your page. 3ts Count offers loads of helpful info and lets you keep track of up to 10 pages. Easy to configure and install. Stats here include last 15 visitors, last 30 days, weekly stats, hourly stats, browsers, operating systems, last 20 referrals, and more.
  • CyberStats: a stats tracking service - CyberStats is easy to set up and offers loads of information about your visitors. Just cut and paste their coding onto your site and you're all set. The information includes hits for the past 7 days, a yearly total, detailed monthly stats, host name stats, search engine stats and more. They also offer a commercial version (for $16) that eliminates the banner that you display with the free version.
  • WebStat - Here's a new free Web tracking service that offers loads of information about your visitors. You get stats broken down by visits per day, week, month, year, operating system, browser and more, all updated in real time. You also get helpful referral information. WebStat is speedy and reliable.
  • HitBOX- - This constantly improving free Java-based tracking service has recently undergone a major upgrade. HitBOX now offers much more data about your visitors, including valuable referral information (when your visitors arrived, where they came from, etc.). When you sign up for HitBOX, you get a listing in the popular directory, WebSideStory, which can bring you extra visitors. Sites listed with WebSideStory are categorically ranked by traffic. This feature can mean extra hits for you, as other surfers who browse the lists will click in from time to time. WebSideStory now offers a banner program. If you display one of their banners, they'll place your own banner into their rotation of ads.
  • HitSTAT - This speedy new European free page tracking service offers loads of stats about your site's visitors. You get information about the last visitor and stats sorted by hour, day, week and month. They also provide info on your visitors by domain and by browser used. To use the free service, you're required to display their banner. Offered in English, German and Italian.
  • Free Counters - This site offers a number of different counter styles to choose from. Just select the design you want and fill out the short form to get one for your page.
  • Better Counter - This Java-based service counts all your site's pages (a maximum of 20 using the free version) Features include complete hits analysis within a customizable page structure. You get details like internal & external references. Thus, you can find out which links, search engines or banners give you the most hits. Free for up to 20 pages and 500 hits/day.
  • Gumball Web site Tracker - (Service temporarily suspended). A unique British service that offers secure Web page tracking. Using the information that Gumball provides about your visitors, you can find the answers you need to successfully promote your Web site.
  • NedStat - Solid free tracker with all kinds of detailed stats, including what page referred your visitors to you---a essential feature that's very rare among free tracking services. NedStat is now also offering two-week trial periods for its more advanced and detailed NedStat Pro. NedStat also offers a version in Dutch. Visitors have reported having difficulties in accessing their stats lately.
  • TheCounter.com - This is a free page counter that offers loads of information about your site's visitors (such as domain, browser, OS, hourly weekday & monthly stats, resolution, color depth and referring page). You can choose from four different counter styles and specify whether the counter appears in "traditional" style or invisible. Best of all, they require no ads to be displayed on your page. We've have complaints of people losing their accounts here. Tech support can be hard to reach at times.
  • FastCounter - The Web's largest banner service, LinkExchange, offers a free counter service, as well. This easy-to-implement service offers you stats via E-mail. Several counter styles are available. No porn or "inappropriate" sites allowed.
  • ICDirect.com - This is a fast, free easy-to-set-up counter that tracks your daily, weekly and monthly hits. Using this counter also gets you listed in their directory, which can lead to more traffic for you. Click here for an example of their stats report..
  • Siteflow Free Counters - Free counter site that offers several options, such as ignoring your own hits to your site, as well as making your counter invisible. Setting up the counter is a straightforward two-part process. The free service is available only to sites that get no more than 500 hits a day. They also limit you to one counter per site. Not recommended. We've had complaints from visitors that their counter doesn't always load and their site isn't always accessible.
  • WebTracker - This major free service offers a number of goodies. You get data on what browser your visitors are using, the operating system they're running, and you can tell if they're repeat visitors. You can also find out what days of the week are hot and find out what time of the day visitors come to your site. WebTracker data is updated in real-time. There is never the need to wait for a log file update; view your stats whenever you want to. Note: WebTracker has reported problems with their service with the Internet Explorer browser, version 4.
  • Crazy Counter - A joke page counter, available in both Java and animated GIF versions.
  • The Museum of Counter Art - Tired of the same lame-looking counter on your page? Check out this site which has 500 sets of free counter artwork for anyone to use. The counter sets can be used with most any counter CGI scripts, across all platforms. Counter art is displayed in the various exhibit rooms of the museum based on its particular look or style.
  • LBInet free counter service - A good basic counter. Just go to the site, fill out a form and they'll E-mail the HTML you need to put on your page. They claim a 99.98 percent reliability rate. No X-rated sites allowed.
  • Dyno Counter - Just cut & paste some code and Viola! you've got a counter. You can have as many counters as you want as long as the content on your site is free.
  • JCount - JCount is a set of animated web page access counters that are available as free access counters. Although they are Java-based, they include a backup counter for those users who do not have Java support. You can choose from a selection of different digit types or change the number displayed at any time you choose by using a simple configuration screen. Paid subscription service available, too.
